Since I have no hope for Star Wars, I'm looking forward to catching this on Christmas. Looks solid and I read they shot it in a way to make it look like one continuous take, so that's neat.

Hit and Run with Dax Shepard is a silly ass fun comedy with a edge. It has some superb low budget practical effects car chases.

Margin Call was a good flick, that somehow managed to completely ignore the responsibility of the Feds for the market collapse of 2008. Well cast, written, directed, performed.

On the subject of John Wayne movies; may I recommend ‘Red River’.
Co-starring Montgomery Clift as Wayne’s son on a cattle drive across the Red River.
Wayne is the anti-hero in this one, at times villainous.
In my estimation, his finest acting, in his prime.
I’ll watch it any time I can when it’s on TCM.

I know I'm an OMFer, but I enjoy the film noir on TCM the best.

Probably. I don't have cable, or Netflix either.

Netflix now only adds "original content" to their platform. Can be difficult to find anything good on there.
Amazon Video has a large collection of John Wayne movies.

TCM is Turner Classic Movies. They do show some good movies
On another note, I wasted 5 bucks on Amazon Prime last nite. I watched a new movie Mob Town, about the mafia meeting and raid in Apalacin NY in the 50's. Total waste of time.Poor acting at its finest.
