Crowe is the man - I will make the effort to watch any movie he is in.

    The Gray
    Misery
    Hateful 8
    The Revenant
    Fargo
    Rambo First Blood

If anyone has more suggestions of bleak, wintry films, please let me know. I've heard that Jeremiah Johnson might fit, so I'll give that a try.

Just funny as Hell. Seeing that stripper's body glitter on Jackson's goatee nearly rolling on the floor. Seeing Roundtree appear near the end was a nice touch too.

Watched about 20 minutes of it. Pretty crappy especially compared to The Big Lebowski.

And with the passing of Sean Connery -- the Man's actor -- I remind you of his finest movie: The Wind and The Lion. Please secure a copy while it is legal.

In a pre-Bond role from 1959, I highly recommend the family movie, Darby O'Gill and the Little People. Sean Connery's talent and charisma were very apparent.

Another suggestion. Outland. The basic plot is High Noon in space. It has some of the look and feel of Alien. Special effects haven't aged that well, but still watchable. Connery gives a great performance.

Yep. Then again, his character in The Untouchables was a tour de force as well.

"They send one of yours to the hospital, you send one theirs to the morgue!"

"And don't let him clean himself up until he's talked."
