I just watched, for the first time, the original Death Wish. A few of things.....

    1) 70's movie music was really terrible.

    2) I enjoyed this movie a lot. Was surprised (and a bit disappointed) that Bronson didn't get the thugs who killed his wife.

    3) I have limited Bronson exposure in movies. I know he was a bad ass. And because of that, I never bought that he was a bleeding heart liberal. (he's type-cast to me)

    4) the investigator wasn't a bumbling idiot.

Are the sequels and/or the remake worth watching?

Not The A-Team unfortunately. Just watched that again today.

The sequels get perpetually dumber and more hilarious. His family and friends all get raped and murdered. Death Wish 3 is one of the funniest movies I've seen.

My sister-in-law worked on that movie. She was part of the wardrobe department. She got to meet and hang out with Tom Hanks. Pretty cool stuff

You'd think the ratio of working to non-working McDonald's ice cream machines would have improved since that came out, lol.

You know people like to shit on Neeson a lot these days but I really enjoy those movies. Law Abiding Citizen was really good too- on a similar revenge note.

Watched 13 Assassins (2010) again. There are several interesting parallels to current events. And the 45-minute battle scene may be the longest ever filmed.

The man in me will do... nearly any task. And as for compensation, there's little he would ask.
How can you hate California and love the Big Lebowski? The dude is the epitome of southern Californian lifestyle. And everyone loves the dude.
