Saw Top Gun: Maverick tonight, and it fucking owned. Full theatre, too. Can't wait to see it again.

The revised cut almost makes it an entirely different movie. The emphasis placed on the relationship between Rocky and Apollo, Apollo’s role in bringing Rocky back after his loss to Clubber Lange, the addition of more development to Draco’s character, and the removal of most of the jingoism was solid work. Some of the scenes cut in and out awkwardly, but, overall, it’s fantastic.

Prey on Hulu Streaming is the most entertaining movie I’ve watched in some time. I’ve always loved the first Predator movie, but this one was excellent.

It was awesome. Throw a Predator into 1700s America and watch what happens, bulletproof idea. The leading actress did a great job.

It's been great to have a few months of great movies come out like Top Gun and Prey. We saw NOPE last weekend in the theatre. That was pretty damn cool.

Prey was fine... Definitely more than adequate. I was entertained and did not regret committing the 100 minutes to watch the movie.

But, uh, a 14yo girl takes out a predator with zero technology.

The trained teams in either the jungle or LA were all wiped out.

    Sure.....

    Totally, Palios!!! Insane.

I do otherwise enjoy the realism of a very humanoid alien with five fingers and five toes, who has traveled a handful of light years just to hunt extremely technologically inferior beings, and behaves essentially like a savage human with a weird face and cool weapons as the antagonist, though. Solid!!

Palios, I question the things you question. A lot.

I think the German bodybuilder hiding from the super advanced alien ogre in mud was much more realistic.

I, for one, wouldn't let everyone know that you weren't able to comprehend Predator. But hey, you do you.
