Really good listen. It's an amazing concept. To get better at a sport, as an athlete, get stronger while you also practice the skill. Makes sense.

Mart Seim pressing 150kg like it ain't no thang: https://youtu.be/5J0qP9TZfOU?t=294 10 days later he got a PR clean and jerk of 547lb/248kg. Not sure what his bodyweight is, but he competes at 105kg+.

Good podcast. The comment Tom made about no longer seeing knee, hamstring and shoulder pains in his athletes after adopting the SS model is a pretty important point.

    Take note non-believers.

I have to confess that, much like Tom, I've changed my mind on the bar path. I'm beginning to think the "s-curve" is more result than cause.

Just based on what I've seen, it looks like they're trying to pull the bar as straight as they can.

Who is trying to pull the bar straight?

I would love for Tom to flesh that whole story out some time.

It was brought up and dropped too quickly. Like "oh, by the way, I cured cancer. You hungry? Let's go get lunch".

I would argue most Olympic-level weightlifters.

If you think "s curve," your bar path will suck. A similar thing happens in baseball, when you talk about the hand path.
