    Default Does a full bladder help with the Valsalva?

    The random things I think about during a five minute break between work sets, but if we are trying to increase hydrostatic pressure inside, then if the bladder is larger because it is full, would there be less room for the air and thus a higher pressure and thus better support?

    A better suggestion, given most of the volume is metres of intestines....
    Maybe an inpacted bowel is more optimal.

    Yep. When the pressure gets real high, and you have a lot of weight on your back, things happen. I wouldn't want to add the full bladder into the mix. It is already bad enough. :-)

    Look at the positive side. If you need to relieve a little hydro-static pressure, one would have the option of relieving it without letting the air off when lifting with a full bladder. More the options better it is always.
