    Hi Mr. Rippetoe,

    Purely hypothetical:
Let's say a young male has low testosterone levels and mild sleep apnea. Obviously his recovery would be less than optimal for novice LP. Now, in the book you state that certain people will have to switch to an advanced novice plan sooner than others. Is there a way to delay this as much as possible?

    Now, another case:
Let's say the young novice is just very recently TRT, and is waiting for his anti-apnea splint to get adjusted - so he has temporary recovery issues. How would he deal with this?

Correct the test level and the sleep apnea.

Train as he is able. Why are you asking these things? Are the answers that cryptic?
