Plantar Fasciitis

Any experience with plantar fasciitis? I started squatting and deadlifting about 5 months ago. I have had foot pain when I get out of bed for a few months (but wasn't concerned) until now I have it more and more during the day.
It seems that a lack of flexibility in the calf could cause it. Do you know if squatting or deadlifting could make it worse? I really haven't changed any other activity besides those so I am looking for some insight as to the cause.
Also it seems that resting the feet is necessary for healing. I would hate to have to stop squating, so if you have any experience with this, let me know what you think.

Plantar injuries are not a risk of our program. They are probably work related, and ladders are a common cause. What work do you do?
