    Default Corked thigh

    Hi Mark.

I copped a corked thigh tonight and I have a heavy squat tomorrow (advanced novice). I have a slight limp and have full range of motion but it's painful. My plan is to just go into tomorrow's workout business as usual. I was sure something as trivial as this wouldn't cause problems but wanted to make sure.

    Cheers.

Probably UK slang for "got a quadriceps contusion" while playing soccer maybe?

Practicing karate I get hit by a fair amount of leg kicks almost every practice session. Sometimes I will be limping for a few days afterwards, so I place my two weekly squat (and deadlift) sessions on the days immediately before my two karate sessions. This way I always have a day or two to recover. I have done heavy squats with a bit of a contusion... seemed to help recover from that more than anything.

Trained through it no problems. Cheers Rip. I drove my thigh into some blokes elbow at mma. Strike me pink, that'll teach me.
