    Not at all, only the persistent reflux and messed up esophagus indicate something is not right. For reference, my 1RM squat is in the mid 400s and I wear my belt fairly tight.
    I suppose it's possible that the hernia has nothing to do with it, but there is no other apparent cause so nothing else to act on.
