    Hi Rip,

A female friend would like to start a LP again but has had SPD since her baby was born 3 months ago.

Obviously, doctors and physical therapists told her not to lift anything "heavy" and basically to "avoid anything that involves the quadriceps" (???)

My thought: if she's stronger it will resolve her condition. But I don't want to make her do anything that would hurt her.

Can I safely put her on an LP — providing each movement is correct and pain free?

    Many thanks,

I trained through 2 PS injuries (horseback wrecks) by squatting. As is usually the case, doctors want to "let things heal" because they don't understand how things heal. She can squat with this injury if her stance width is correct.

    Got it.

    Thanks Rip.
