Good point. Alan has done an excellent job of demonstrating that, using a few pointed examples of uninformed criticism. I especially loved Mr. Smith's comment about having not read the book in 12 years, and these two gibbering fools going on and on about how the squat is guaranteed to sprain your SI and the subsequent inevitable crutches. The guy in his basement is the standard for the internet. It seems as though the whole social media phenomenon is predicated and dependent on the ability to freely comment upon that which you have not bothered to learn anything about. Cheaply-purchased authority is the nature of such things.
Of all the joints from sacrum to C1... they picked the SI? I'm baffled. How the fuck is THAT joint supposed to be the point of "shear force" induced failure? Surely, they can do better than that. At least pick one in the lumbar.
He has hurt his SI squatting before, obviously.
See how that works, boys? How I know shit I can't possibly know?
It's a good video. I wasn't aware Rip gets talked about that often on YouTube.
(And I like Alan Thrall, but what's up with that beard? They should call him Vanilla ISIS.)
