Six and a half years ago. Wow.
My future isn't what it used to be.
I'm glad to see this article reposted. A Google hit on it two years ago got me into a gym for the first time at age 47.
Yup, that’s the article that got me started. As Sully said in one of his lectures, been pretty much f!cked ever since 🤣. Thanks Dr. Sullivan.
Anything from that article need updating, revision, or deletion based on "what we know now"?
This article got my mom lifting, which cured her Type II diabetes. Thanks forever, Sully!
This article changed my life. I was responding to my mid-thirties metabolic syndrome by doing the Atkins Diet and becoming so skinny I could have snapped in a stiff breeze. I thought I was so smart and disciplined for losing 25 pounds in two months.
Then the Belgium/Paris train attack happened (the one that recent movie is about), and I realized if I were in a similar situation, I wouldn't be wresting control of a AK-47 from anyone. I'd just die.
Steven Crowder had mentioned Starting Strength on Twitter, so I checked out the website and happened upon this article. Reading it was like a light going off.
