Internally rotated femurs & the Squat
I have noticed and have been told, by a friend, that my femurs point inward relative to my shins and feet. I don't know whether this is a problem or that's just my anatomy.
Anyway, my question to you Rip is, if you have ever come across this, would you alter the Squat to have the toes facing out more to achieve a more knees out position, as they are more inward? Thanks.

I am unable to attach photos to this for some reason. Do you have another way I can get them to you?

I don't want to see them that badly. It's been my experience that, in the absence of an extremely unusual orthopedic defect, if your femurs are internally rotated, you have to externally rotate them when you squat. Thus our advice to shove your knees out on the way down, and keep them in out all the way up, so that the femur and the foot stay parallel.
