    Hi Mark,

I’ve been having problems with executing correct power cleans. The way I see it, the main problem is when the bar clears the knees my back becomes vertical too soon whilst my knees and hips shoot forward.

Can this be fixed? If so, how would you go about fixing it?

You're rolling the bar forward as you set up the start position so that your knees are too far forward (which is responsible for the back angle problem you see), and the whole thing is too slow. Other than that, it's not a bad clean.

Thanks Mark. Are the shins supposed to make contact with the bar during the set up?

    It's all in the book.
