Will there be more information coming out soon regarding the oral portion of the exam that was mentioned? Such as when it will be administered (before/after written portion) and when it goes into effect? Thanks.

We're planning on rolling it out for the January seminar in San Diego for a few reasons - more evaluators per candidate, efficiency, less risk of impropriety as candidates are developed through TAC, the gyms, affiliates, and SSOC. Overall, it seems like this will be a better assessment of an SSC candidate's familiarity with the material. It's important to note that the platform evaluation will always come first and will always be the barrier to entry for the SSC.

The oral exam will be scheduled within a couple of weeks of successfully passing the platform. A writing portion may be assigned to the candidate based on performance during the oral exam. That's the tentative plan, but it's still being developed - no one should take this as final word on The Process. We'll brief candidates at the seminar on how things will go down.
