    He got bit on the face last spring. Owee. Swelled up pretty bad for a few days.

    Now I would like to hear about the best cords that use the most temperature-insensitive elastic material. Because in the winter, I am often irritated by cords made of crap rubber/plastic which lose their flexibility in the cold. Particularly annoying with battery cables.

    Friends' dogs have gotten killed by those things. What kind of treatment was necessary?

    Did he have the rattlesnake vaccine or training beforehand?

    He'd had the vaccine, but larger dogs usually survive a snakebite unless it's directly on the throat. His was on the muzzle.
