Squat "bounce"
Hi Mark,
On page 40 and 41 of ss 2nd edition you talk about the importance of using the bounce out of the bottum of the squat and thinking about the 'up' drive all the way down during the descent.
Is it safe to conclude that the optimal bounce occurs at the optimal depth? So without outside information of a coach or a videotape you almost certainly know you have hit the right depth of the full squat?

The bounce occurs at optimal depth for the stretch, yes. This means that if you are high your bounce will not be as good, and this gives you a way to tell about your depth without a coach or video.
