Hey all.
With 2019 ending in just a few hours, I decided to throw out an invitation to all of our members to share the progress they've made since they joined Starting Strength Dallas. Some made-up names for anonymity.

A year ago, I had a goal of benching 225. Last night, I reached it! 3x5x225. I had several setbacks over the last year where something would happen as I got close to 225 (right shoulder pain, tricep muscle tear, elbow tendonitis). This time, everything felt right and strong. Before, I felt like I was reaching my limit as I got close to 225. Now, I feel like I have a strong base from which I can continue to increase bench strength. I think having a stronger squat, DL, and press contributes significantly to having a stronger bench. Jayne and Matt, many thanks! And also thanks to my fellow dinner crowd lifters - it is great to train with you guys!
