Radial head replacement rehabilitation
Hello,
I managed, in my ultimate idiocy, to completely destroy the radial head of my left elbow in a non-weight training related accident. I've undergone replacement surgery and am now rocking a new titanium radial head replacement prosthesis. I am of course undergoing physical therapy to regain range of motion and strength, but was wondering if anyone here has any experience in rehabilitation from this type of procedure. The surgeon says I'll probably have to "modify" any pressing movements but didn't have any advice regrading returning to weight training.
Any advice would be appreciated.
