    Default Sartorius pain at ASIS

I experience post workout pain at the ASIS sartorius attachment area post squat workout consistently. Started when the weight started to get “heavy”. This appears to be getting a little better ( less painful ) , as the workouts continue from week to week. Albeit slowly.

I have tried to be very conscious of form and continue to try to set the knees early in the squat.

    Question:
Is it plausible that this is just my quads carrying much of the load due to weak glutes and hamstring muscles ?

I was a avid hobbyist / competitive cyclist over the last 8 years.

I carry a number of back, neck, shoulder and knee injuries from my youth that were becoming difficult to live with after dropping as much upper body muscle as possible to be a competitive vet class cyclist. I’ve put 25 lbs on since getting back in the gym 4 months ago and the extra muscle is making it possible to live / sleep with my old injuries. Sincerely Thank You for improving my life.
