Proving once again- if it really needed to be proven-that more Government is never the solution where economics are concerned. Economics and state should be seperated. The interesting thing is why this is not already so in America of all countries-unfortunately a result of the FF to grasp the need to have ethics as a science and not the purview of religion. Eventually that old fashioned altruism crept right back in and with it came all the horrible socialistic ideas about egalitarianism, leading to the Government being moral arbiter of everything economic.

Yes, that woman was ridiculous.

I was very happy to have her on. They invited someone they knew would completely disagree with them and come with different priors and her own data, and she stress tested their arguments in the most rigorous way possible, which they withstood using logic and data to show the strength of their claims. I feel that this almost never happens today.

It was very weak, but I do believe that they were acting in good faith finding the best opponent they could. The weakness of her arguments says more about the strength of the opposition than it does about their decision to have her on, in my opinion.
