Love that shirt. Hope you don't get double secret probation for wearing it.

I forgot to mention that in my other post, yes, props for the Animal House shirt. And the amazingly clip-worthy "Antifa are pussies". If I made silly internet videos, I'd put that to use somehow.

SOMEBODY SHOULD WRITE AN ARTICLE ON STRENGTH IN THE MARTIAL ARTS.

I think the joke was that he wrote that article.

Skill training makes a better driver. Strength training gives that driver a better car. That's how I look at it.

I trained Gracie BJJ for a few years in the early 2000's... I wish I'd kept it up, would probably be a blue belt by now.

I'll never forget the day I locked up with this bigger Latino guy that I assume was a landscaper / mason due to his build, tan, and callouses on his hands... anyways I'll never forget his strength... dude grabbed my GI and I could not do anything from there on, like he was made of concrete, we were the same belt but I was 100% helpless. He weighed maybe 50 lbs more than me.

Strength is EVERYTHING in the practical application BJJ..i.e. fighting.

Using that strength ahead of your technique against folks while training can get in the way of learning and can annoy your rolling partners... that's what they call 1st world problems.
