Hi there Rippetoe, I have really bad flexibility in my arm. If measuring from the wrist to “straight.” It’s a good 3 to 4 inches. I try to hang and all that but just don’t know what to do with it. Admittedly I hate stretching. I’m also not naturally pliable. I think there is something I’m missing. I wanted to know if you had an approach to this that works? There’s a lot of junk out there in the ether that’s just plain witchcraft.

Yep. Elbow. Stays bent. Not even dead’s straighten that sucker out. With all the BS out there it’s hard to know what works. “Regular stretching don’t budge it.

It's most likely a bony impingement from an old fracture. You can't stretch bone.

Ok. Thanks man. I’ll have to get it looked at by someone. Haven’t broken it to my knowledge. Maybe born with it. I remember somebody telling me when I was 19 it was bent.

What will they look at it and say? Something you don't already know?

This condition is only in one elbow? Are you a video game player?

I’m not sure what video games have to do with it. I have played them. I have also played basketball, softball, football. I lift weight. I just happen to have an issue with my right elbow. That’s it.

How much extension are you missing?
