Update for Thinking Outside the Box With Disabilities
I have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and was seemingly getting weaker in the press and squat. Following the excellent advice from Mark Rippetoe and Will Morris to change my programming and to implement seated presses to accommodate the balance limitations of MS I am making surprisingly great gains in strength. My husband/trainer and I were a bit dubious of their recommendations but we bowed to their expertise and did it anyway. Once again, Mark Rippetoe is right. Thanks so much for helping me and others in my gym to get strong to live strong.
