A bent bar is stable when the bend in the middle is up and the sleeves are down, and if it's bent enough it will "right" itself into this position when loaded. This is why it doesn't roll on your back.
Hello Sir Rip,
How do you have your lifters setup with this thing? It seems to sit a bit awkwardly in the rack unless upside down. Is a lifter supposed to dive under with the bar upside down and turn it up as they position it on the back? Also, is that wobble at the top of the rep avoidable or is that just inherent?
Thanks Coach

I guess the cheap one that my PTM ordered has some weird dimensions and doesn’t quite sit in even balance in the rack. This makes it very awkward to load and it wants to flip upside down if left unattended. As for the wobble approaching lockout during a rep, i take it that is normal?
Mine doesn't wobble, ever.
Interesting. Not sure what the deal is with the wobble — shitty collars on a cheap bar maybe. Might i inquire as to which brand you use?
It's a badly bent Texas Power Bar.
Sounds unique. Thanks coach!
Unusual circumstances. But it has a new job, so the money wasn't wasted.
