At some point, the businesses that have not been destroyed will decide to open, and fuck the authorities. Then we'll see what happens.
Pardon the interruption:
Has anyone read or know what will be the criteria for ending the government orders for business shutdowns, social distancing, shelter in place, blah, blah, blah. I do not see a finish line or goal for this to end. Will some governor just take a stand and end his/her executive order or wait for the public health officials to give the "all clear" based on some testing statistic?

That British horse left the barn several years ago. They lead the western world in public surveillance. We'll catch up soon. New America's Socialist Utopia update:

Yes. Keep this in mind: https://www.americanthinker.com/arti...e_is_born.html
I wonder if anyone will bother to measure increased death rates from crime and suicide and compare them to the death rates from the virus when this is all over.
A couple of the groups I belong to in FB, the Shawnee National Forest group, and Southern Illinois Eats (restaurants and such) have their share of people who post finger wagging diatribes about going out for what THEY deem to be "non-essential" departures from the family sheep pen. What's really absurd about these posts is that the trips out for taking the air outdoors and getting food are specifically permitted by the executive order of Gauleiter Pritzker.
I've said it before, but I am simply stunned by how quickly this snitch on your neighbor thing has manifested itself. Maybe it's all the Baptists here in Southern Illinois.
No, they need that to collect tracking information and to monitor us to make sure we aren't engaging in wrong-think.
Yes, it has been well-known for some time that Google and other apps may sell or provide your personally identifiable location/other information to the authorities or to companies like Palanatir that may sell that data to the authorities. It is a loophole; The police aren't allowed to collect it themselves, but they can buy it from somebody else who has collected it.
Still looking for a good faraday cage for the phone.
