While that guy seems completely insane, there is some truth to the visual similarity, at least from that photo.

"Not a single case of flu detected by Public Health England this year as Covid restrictions suppress virus"

Not a single case of flu detected by Public Health England this year as Covid restrictions suppress virus | The Independent

“There’s been no flu season anywhere in the world this year, including the UK,” she told The Independent. “Flu is one of the big reasons that the NHS struggles every winter. But what I think is really interesting is that people say we live with flu deaths every year and kind of assumed they were unavoidable. Yet clearly they’re not.

“If we wanted to, we’ve shown we can reduce flu deaths to pretty much zero. I don’t think that the damage we have done through lockdown is anything that anyone would support to prevent flu, but it does bring into question the idea of whether there is anything that we can do.”

“I don’t know if it’s the social distancing or the mask wearing that’s done it [in reducing flu rates], but I think we should at least be having those conversations,” Prof Pagel added."

There are people who light their homes with those fucking things? They are bad enough when they are coming at me on the other side of the road. That white-blue shit is a menace.

Fascinating, how society is as malleable as it turned out to be. A child can understand this lie, yet we are assumed and expected to believe it because a degreed bureaucrat proclaims it. Society has been damaged in severe ways:

The dumbest have risen to the top of the pot like rancid turds. These morons cannot see anything beyond “The Narrative.” There’s absolutely no careful reflection. Is it the flu that slams the NHS every year, or is the NHS overwhelmed because it is a socialist monstrosity that does absolutely nothing to promote health, and so the goddamned flu is a crisis for a third of every year?

The other really troubling thing is these totalitarian scum bags now know they can do this every year with impunity, for any reason so that they can keep pumping money into the NHS’s coffers instead of torpedoing it and firing every bureaucrat associated with it.

And THIS motherfucker has contributed to the problem in more interesting ways than I realized: Bill Gates - What you were not told - CeFlix

Of particular interest at 9:43. This is a pretty good hit piece, so I wonder how much of it is bullshit.

    2. Perhaps most important and something I find nobody seems to realize anymore is to close your crawlspace vents in the winter once temps go below freezing at night.
    3. Third best simple solution is to open the under-sink cabinet doors where exposed pipes pass through, especially for sinks on exterior walls.
    4. If possible, provide some heat to elevate ambient room temp where exposed pipes are located to above freezing (my water heater is in my unheated garage gym so I had to keep a space heater running for it).

    5. A bit more in-depth and I'm considering doing myself is to buy and install foam insulation to all my pipes under the house this summer.

I know a little on this as I work for my city Utility Dept (soon to move to Liberty Utilities) maintaining all 1" and 5/8" water meters, and billing. I along with the entire Water/Sewer department spent the last two weeks doing almost nothing but running around town in the snow, ice and sub-zero temps turning off peoples' water for burst pipes. In most of these cases, the freezes and ruptures could've been avoided if the above common precautions would've been followed.

Thanks for this list, now I know who I'll be boycotting.
What are the standards in Texas for houses? Are basements common? Or does everyone have crawlspaces? I'm no building expert so I'm just asking questions. Up here in Canuckistan, we pretty much all have basements, but the cold is a total different thing than Texas' normal weather, so obviously a different dynamic. I know in Florida you can't have basements because the water table is 4 feet below the ground. Is Texas similar? Plus Florida you want to be outside as much as you can I guess.

Are basements considerations in Texas? I have no idea if they would have helped individual houses, just curious.

Rule of thumb for the kids: if you can unscrew the lit bulb with your bare hand, it won't do anything to keep your pipes flowing.

I use LEDs in my home. There are colors of light available other than soul-crushing "white" and blinding "blue".

An interesting assertion. Have you ever been tested for the flu? Have you had a PCR test for anything other than C19? Have you ever heard of anybody who has? Why isn't there a PCR test for the flu with a 45cT?
