There’s a very basic truth that most people want their lives to be more exciting than they are. It’s why people tell fish tales and exaggerate the details. Is why some people claim to have been in the twin towers on 9/11 when they were actually no where near. It’s why NBC reporters lie about being in combat. The modern person has watched so many movies and TV shows that depict something happening outside of normal life that the seed has been planted in their head that if something exciting doesn’t happen to them, then they don’t get to be a part of the show and no one will care about them.
As the article says, the “pandemic” is the most interesting thing that’s ever happen to a ton of people who would otherwise just be sitting on the couch eating Taco Bell and binge watching porn. Now, by doing that, they think they’re a hero. Let the dead bury the dead.
