One item often overlooked about our relationship with Israel. If we pull support for Israel, it's likely that the Islamic counties, will see this as a chance to “Push the Jews into the Sea” or words to that effect. However, this time the Jews (Israel) aren't going alone. So our choice comes down to either continue to support Israel or plan for Israel nuking the rest of the Middle East. That in itself doesn't concern me, it's the possible after effects.
Speaking of masks, the latest bit of seemingly unrealized irony comes from NPR. Maybe the MSM too, but I only catch parts of NPR while driving around mainly in the mornings. I can't be bothered to watch the big networks for national news. While pretending to be neutral, NPR only manages to find hand wringers to interview bemoaning the current confusion over the new unmasking direction coming from the CDC and the WH. All the while believing no one remembers when they were saying the same thing when Trump was POTUS. Only now they aren't exactly criticizing Biden.
One thing is obvious: the shooting would stop if Hamas quit shooting.
Hamas doesn’t want peace and their fundamental non-negotiable bargaining position is death to the Jews and the end of Israel.
How does anyone work with that?
This won’t end until the world quits forcing Israel to pull back. We need to encourage Israel to go in and brutally wipe out Hamas and the other extremists.
Hunt them down and kill them all.
Doesn’t matter if it’s the playground or world powers no one messes with anyone that you are certain will hand you your head.
My exposure to Middle East politics is 25 to 30 years out of date. But without ever admitting to possession of nukes, Israel has made it plain that they will not go alone. It's the primary reason for their subs that are somewhere in the Med and probably in the Persian Gulf. I'm paraphrasing an Israeli official when asked what possible use Israel has for subs "To eliminate the idea that anyone could overwhelm us and not face retaliation." You might want to read about where Israeli military officers take their oaths and the meaning behind it.
