What Jenni is feeling is a natural, evolutionarily proper impulse to put physical distance between her & her family, and these stupid, harmful people - and you're right, the US Gov have been very transparent about inventing the "Domestic Terrorist" designation, ahead of time, to prevent this from ever happening on US soil in the future. It's the same reason this why this mythological "White Supremacist" label has been pushed. Again, I feel the need to say this every time, a lot of you place the blame squarely on the vaguely communistic "Left" for this "cultural Marxism" but 25 year old post-grads with blue hair and preferred pronouns are not the ones who have spent billions of their own dollars to subvert the nation.

Paul Singer, George Soros, Tom Steyer and Michael Bloomberg are of WALL STREET. Every single one of them has put massive amounts of their money behind the things which we complain about here, and not a single of them wants communism. Quite the opposite. Look at how their money is interwoven with the levers of power, and that includes the last guy you voted for to be president. Go back and pick a major event of the 20th century, including the rise of communism in Russia, and you will find Wall St. capitalists funding it. Communism was just the tool they used last century, and whether they’re funding tools like pro-immigration/anti-white propaganda, gun control, or woke shit- you name it – all of it has one shared goal. A deliberate undermining of national sovereignty.

Secession might be off the table for you and me, Jenni, but they succeeding in pulling apart the United States in greater ways, and this is all the "Great Reset" refers to… a move away from national sovereignty towards global governance.

Putting a fumbling Joe Biden there is only furthering the aim the handing-over of governance to military contractors, Big Tech and Wall St. His incompetence justifies it. You could argue there isn't even an administration currently. All of your presidents, red or blue, continue to sign the emergency powers brought in after 9/11, and when people say Covid-19 is the new 9/11, it really is true.

Donald Trump extends Proclamation 7463, post-9/11 emergency powers

Any future US president will continue to adhere to whatever is demanded of him from the architects of this current pandemic psy-op, too. It's looking like the strategic goal of this milestone is increased public compliance with the idea of a digital ID, in the form of a "vaccine passport". It actually doesn't need to be physically implemented for these last two years to have been considered a total success, as long as people are vaguely aware of it and are no longer skittish when it’s mentioned.

Likewise, I predict the future goal behind the decision of world central banks to continue pushing the debt higher (knowing inevitable consequences of this) will be a move over to a central bank digital currency (for which you will need a digital ID, of course) and whoever sits in the White House at that moment will sign-off on that as well.

To prove the point further, the reason why Joe Biden knelt is completely irrelevant: Fact Check-Photo does not show Biden kneeling before Israeli President ‘pledging support’ | Reuters

Joe Biden doesn't even know why Joe Biden does what he does, so in that way he is the perfect candidate for the job, but the important fact is this photo was allowed to be circulated in public - and this was permitted by the tightest security in the nation. Why? What is the received message, and what effect does this have on our minds?

Those two books by Cialdini are a great read in these times, anticausal. When you previously mentioned the people who are operating at the level of “wizardry” in society, it got a lot of scoffs from people here who are very smart but missed the point. Bafflingly, even after everything we’ve seen in the last 2 years, they will still not accept that people in general are completely malleable, can be moved, and simply do not behave in the real world as self-interested individuals. Tribal and group behaviour is not a bug, it is a known feature of humans throughout history - and very cynical, intelligent people have found a way to exploit this, while at the same time convincing the conservative right that they are simply above "hive mind" group thinking. The American conservative right used to be the last line of political defence for traditional, heritage America, but now it has been hijacked and tells its supporters how they can somehow "own the libs" by trying appear to appear more woke and tolerant, more liberal and less conscious of race (DR3) than their opponents - and in the process, they conserve absolutely nothing at all.

Unfortunately, Jenni, I think the only solution is to reach out to these masked idiots and ride the tiger for a while longer. The solution definitely isn't political right now. We can't ride the tiger forever, though, and there will be time when we will have to actually become the tiger.

All this; inflation, masks, tests, government micro-management- it doesn't matter because these people are so brain-dead they don't even care. Long as they can stream their tik tok and get their Ben and Jerry's they don't care. As long as life is handed to them, the government can do anything it wants. Freedom for comfort. There's no big awakening gonna happen. This domestic zombie thing is just how people are now.
We need to consider, idk what would the polite term for it be? Balkanization? The absolute best we're gonna get is left alone. We better start thinking about it if we don't want to be assimilated. My gut feeling has become resignation in spite of some small wins. We may win a few battles but we're losing the war.
According to the most serious calculations, we are living in the second part of the golden age of the Kali Yuga. Read up on it, and you will find that there was never any chance at all. The best you can do is have a drink while the house is burning down and start working towards the pertinent goal, getting on Vishnu’s good side, because he is told to offer absolution from existence if you put enough effort. Just don’t fall for the idea that singing his name will do the trick.

Part of me wants to go to the gym on monday (when the new mandate starts), without a mask, and make them try to throw me out. Hopefully they will dispatch some of their dipshit scam artist "trainers" who sit around doing nothing most of the time (because most are smart enough to know it's a scam). I'd relish the opportunity to pop some of their noses.

On the other hand, part of me wants to just keep training, and thinks I'll just go in with the mask to swipe in at the front desk, and then just pull the thing down while I'm training, functionally not having to deal with it while training. Doesn't appease my anger at all, but it lets me keep using the facility to train.

In short, part of me wants to take some kind of a stand, and part of me wants to keep training. Any opinions?

It sucks because the "resistance" "leaders" could easily be taking stands themselves, which in turn would make it less risky for "us" to do so, and then of course the whole house of cards of Covid restrictions would come crashing down. Who the fuck in Congress or in sports or Hollywood, who considers himself against these mandates, do you regularly see flaunting the rules and speaking out against them!?

Maybe Matt Jackson or anticausal or Kit can weigh in, but it's so damn frustrating that the "Left" does this with ease - breaking the rules with little fear of consequences, thanks to their leaders directly or tacitly supporting them (see BLM, Occupy Wall St, and prolly the hippie and bra-burning protests too, though I was not around then) - but the "[White, Christian Conservative] other movement" can never get that kind of coordination done. Somebody mentioned it here, I believe, but that's probably an inherent Achilles heel of the "Right [nationalist]" movements - that as adherents to bootstrap-ism and the power of the individual, they can't coordinate at the level necessary to actually affect change.

But that's just the 30,000-foot take. Here on the ground, you have to decide how much risk you're willing to personally take. And it sucks, because:
    1. If everyone who, like you, hates these mandates didn't follow them, you'd have something like that Canadian anti-mask mall protest that was posted - you can't fine and arrest everyone, especially the old ladies!
    2. By putting the mask on to just get your daily desires accomplished (gym, planes, shopping, kids going to school, what else will be added soon?), you're making it harder for the mandates to ever go away, and more likely that even harsher restrictions will be imposed!

Back to the 30,000-foot view, the fact that, as compared to the "Left," "Conservatives" never take these risks on their issues (choose any!) as often, nor get punished as infrequently when they DO take the risks, leads me to conclude that there really is organization and outside support that allows these astro-turf movements like Occupy Wall Street and BLM to thrive. Don't fucking ask me who supports and organizes them, Barry; you can observe and know that the apple falls from the tree before theorizing that gravity caused it!

But yeah, Commander, for YOUR situation, I'd just withdraw from society as much as possible without materially affecting your life, cuz if you just don the muzzle at the gym entrance to get in, if you just comply A LITTLE BIT with madness, to get by, well, that MADNESS will only grow in its scope. How far would you conceivably go; would you get jabbed for a QR code to do your training? Hell no; right!? So, acquiring your own weights, living further from cities, homeschooling, maintaining your health on your own, finding entrepreneurial skills to make a living off of (and what else?) - these are all things we should be working on NOW to be better prepared for the madness mandates society will be imposing in order to participate in it in the near future.

Good luck with whatever you choose to do but I hope you've seen now how just complying as little as possible to continue living life as we used to is an unsustainable option!

I also grabbed some of the apple-flavored variety earlier for just such an emergency, and if I develop any symptoms beyond what I currently have (exceptionally mild even compared to the wife's mild symptoms) I have options available.

Frankly, even as this is likely a variant (perhaps even omicron and not omNicron... which drives me up the wall that people say that), the local doctor remarked that all the cases observed thus far in the season have been mild.
Listen to a few minutes of a recent Dr McCullough interview regarding a simple, accessible Oral Nasal Virucidal Therapy.

The full interview starts at 24:45: Dark To Light: Dr. Peter McCullough Returns To Talk His Latest COVID Research

The part you need to hear starts at 42:00 through 45:00. He's no longer using Ivermectin as a prophylaxis. Instead he does a nasal and oral rinse with 10% Provodine Iodine (betadine). He uses 2 teaspoon of the betadine with 6 ounces of water and a pinch of salt. Listen to McCullough's recommendation for killing the damned thing early before it moves into your lungs, etc.

We've been using Xlear here and a special mouthwash recommended by the Frontline guys. We're all still covid virgins here despite a great deal of exposure to symptomatic people.

Anyway, I'd disinfect your family's nasal passages and mouth/throat if I were you. Also, I'd throw a catch party and charge admission. Congrats, according to Dr McCullough, it's "one and done". You'll have immunity.

    --------------
The Rogan interview of McCullough should be required listening. I'm not sure who cut Rogan's puppet strings, but he's crossed the rubicon.

This book should be on some sort of "required reading" list. It really gets to the heart of this problem and explains the psychology underlying all these appeals to authority. It is utterly fascinating (maybe terrifying?) in its scope and implications. I first discovered this one about 20 years ago, and always disappointed that more people don't know about it. Also hopeful that more people will discover it.

    Exactly!
I had a conversation yesterday with a close friend of mine who is a doctor here in Israel. He admits to me that there exists a conspiracy but that it is beyond him to fight it. "Best to fit in and try and ride it out, because we don't have a chance to take them on" he told me. I flipped out at him and said "you are a person that rabbis and people of influence would listen to. How can you stand aside and watch as we use our children as guinea pigs in this ridiculous experiment that we already know cause a multitude of serious side effects, and that these costs outweigh any benefit by orders of magnitude. All for a disease that IS NOT dangerous to children, period!."
He just stayed silent and changed the conversation nonchalant like.
This was a man I held in high regards. Now, I look at him no more than toilet paper!

What is the mortality rate for any other respiratory disease for that cohort?

You are aware, aren't you Wal, that the only reason why your humble and generous overlord let you breath just a little bit of air and lifted restrictions, was due to people like Avi Yemini and the Aussie Cossack. And of course to all those brave heros that stood up for their rights and freedoms!

There is a term - that I cannot think of - that refers to the fact that every human in history believes he/she is living at the pinnacle crossroads of human existence. That present events are the final determining factor in civilizations success or doom.

Looking at it from this perspective, it is hard to see concern about Covid/inflation/democrats in Washington are any different from the caveman believing the next thunderstorm was it for him.

In 100 years, people will be here carrying in just fine without any of us. However they too will believe human existence will be finally facing its defeat if “x” happens.

They aren't yet even daring to send people out to bother us about it like they were before. The stark majority of gym-goers do not have masks on at all. This is in New York, mind you.
That's good to hear. You're not in the city though, are you?

Somewhat related: Watch Bret Weinstein, who has otherwise been very good on COVID madness, rationalize his mask wearing. I mean, dude, even your own wife is sitting right there obviously fishing for you to grow some balls and say "we aren't doing this shit anymore", but you still can't do it:

Authorities are a menace to civilization (from Livestream Q&A #107) - YouTube

The mask stuff starts at 2 min in. He really starts rambling into nonsensical territory when he passes the responsibility for initiating mask non-compliance (at 5:30) to those who have "been compliant" and "isn't well addressed by us at all". Dude, what... the... fuck! You are the one being compliant in this context. You're just dressing your fear of offending the cult in thoughtful sounding language.

If anything, he should see it as an opportunity. Not wearing a mask with the majority in a red Texas town would be practically meaningless right now. But walking through a completely masked mob in a 99.9% compliant area means something. In this little battle you can be on the front line, and help push it forward. I mean holy shit, this must be the easiest type of warfare in history, and you still don't have the balls to be a spearhead on the physical front line? It blows my mind.

Meh. Wal, the Russians I met when studying abroad used to tell me Americans aren't really free, and I would scoff. They'd also tell me that we're just as corrupt as the Russians are, only our corruption has evolved into a more polite form while the Russkies are only now going through their Wild West stage.

Do you really think our Western pharmaceutical companies are that much less corrupt than the simpleton Indian ones? Or, let me phrase that differently: Only if you've been living under a rock the past two years, could you rail against this corruption going on in Indian online pharmaceuticals, while giving Pfizer et al the benefit of the doubt that they have humanity's best interests at heart.
