The very first thing that must be done is to remove all restrictions on firearms ownership and self defense, and encourage the middle class to arm themselves to the teeth. All legal protections and privileges previously hogged by the elite should be transferred to the middle class. Every proposed legal change needs to affirmatively answer one question: "Does this give the middle class more power and autonomy?"

But if they overthrow the government, there is no more central planning, everything goes to shit. Unless you keep using the same exact system and just hope it's gonna be uncorrupt.
Unless the goal here is simply to keep the same structure but kill off the bad people in power?
Doesn't sound like a solution to me, not long term at least
But usually when people reach a point where they are willing to die to overthrow the government, they don't really care about long-term planning, they just want it to be over with.

It definitely is starting to feel like a rerun, but I don't agree that it's entirely manufactured. It seems to be the formula Globohomo whipped up to deal with genuine populist uprising. But they can only play this game only as long as the people remain passive and think "peaceful protest" accomplishes anything, making them easy to corral. I was hoping Brazilians would be more realistic, and actually do what Globohomo pretended the Americans and Canadians were doing.

I think you are just being overly optimistic. I think the scene is 100 percent manufactured, but the production is much better than at the Capitol - no wide angle shots, short bursts of conflict with seemingly much more violence and so on. I agree that the military would probably be ready to take matters into their own hands, but not at the risk of provoking a US military intervention, and they would require Bolsonaro to get to the country and call for an actual coup. I don’t see it happening.

Something to look for in the coming years I guess? But people post fake shit like this to 4chan and even the internet at large pretty routinely. The real tragedy is that it's even remotely believable.

The thing is, and the conflict in Ukraine shows it really well, getting a bunch of people psychologically ready for mass warfare is the easy task. The problem is in equipping them and getting them to the front lines. Everyone has gotten really bad at logistics.

Very good point. Another difference is that Bolsonaro basically surrendered a few days ago. I think they feel safely in control now. But these people are not omnipotent. Far from it. If they keep pushing their luck they are going to fuck up somewhere eventually.

The documents, which date to Mr. Biden’s time as vice president, were found by his personal lawyers on Nov. 2 when they were packing files at an office at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, according to the White House. Officials did not describe what kind of information the documents included or their level of classification.

The White House said in a statement that the White House Counsel’s Office notified the National Archives and Records Administration on the same day the documents were found and that they were turned over the following day. The discovery was not in response to any prior request from the archives, nor is there any indication that Mr. Biden or his team resisted efforts to recover these or any other sensitive documents.

Senior Justice Department officials have assigned John R. Lausch Jr., the U.S. attorney in Chicago who was appointed by former President Donald J. Trump, to look into the matter, according to two people familiar with the decision, confirming a CBS News report. The White House statement said that it “is cooperating” with the department.

Sicknick is the only officer death related to the event. I can find listings of five deaths IN TOTAL, but Sicknick is the only capitol police officer. The other four were protesters/rioters/terrorists/whatever label you want to slap on them depending on your political stance (including Babbit).
