Marines are going to follow fucking order to kill you. It's not going to be all of them. The good ones are gonna get out, and then who's left who "needs to pay their bills", who "needs to feed their fucking habits", you know, who needs to [in especially mocking tone] "feed their family" because they can't do it without daddy government, is going to do what the fuck they're told, okay? The military is not on your fucking side and they're gonna do what they're told.

This idea that combat arms is mainly right wing, you know, they won't do that shit. A lot of 'em are. They're gonna do what they're told. Even the right wing ones are gonna do what they're told.

This is obviously a very competent guy. It's easy to tell he's well above average IQ, good physiognomy, and obviously strong character. Well, now he's gone, while the shittier, dumber, and more craven soldiers remain.

They did it, and there's no civil war.

Being armed isn't going to prevent this, because they can choose the time and place of the raid. From recent memory the only time this shit has been prevented is through militia being present in that water stand off with the Bundy guy. They turned up for a raid and militia members turned up and waited them out. I dare say this is why they will make all raids in and out as quickly as possible in the future.

Having the most armed populace is not a defense because this shit doesn't happen in Australia nearly as often.

I have been listening recently to Victor Davis Hanson, a professor emeritus of classics at Cal State University Fresno. To say this has been mind blowing is beyond an understatement. I have a sense of how America (where I lived for half my life from childhood) has deteriorated having last been there 8 years ago. Hanson has a ranch outside of Selma, Ca that has been in his family since 1871. He travels to Stanford University where he is a fellow at the conservative Hoover Institute. He is back and forth between 2 completely different worlds. His ranch has been used as a trash dump by illegal immigrants, some of whom don't even speak Spanish but some tribal language from Mexico. Drunks shoot off guns onto his property. 20,000 dollars in fruit trees were destroyed when somebody crashed their car on his ranch and left it there. The police did nothing. The car was removed and returned to the owner with no penalty. Only when Hansen wrote a column in the local paper was some action taken.

He claims 3 groups profit from illegal immigrants (saying there are 20 million not 11 million it says on google.) Republicans from the chamber of commerce who want cheap labor. When one of these illegals are too injured or sick to work in Hansen's area, they are dumped off and flood the local hospital who by law has to treat them. New illegal workers are super plentiful. The second party is the Mexican government who encourages their citizens to cross the border because its largest foreign remittance by far is from illegals who he claims can send back a few hundred bucks a week. Finally, at least in California, the super rich tech mogul moguls who want them so they can vote for the Democratic party which now rules the state, and he says is destroying it. Is this really happening? Every super power has gone down the tubes. Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, Great Britain, Spain, France in Europe and Asia. I seriously considered moving my family back to the USA from Israel about 20 years ago. I did an enormous amount of research. A banker in Ventura California told me a few years before the mortgage crisis and a near economic collapse under the Bush administration that there was a very large population who would never be able to repay their mortgages. I had worked in a stock brokerage company and couldn't believe the totally worthless new investments that no one could understand created with algorithms supposedly by a PhD in mathematics. Math was my college major. It sounded, completely fraudulent, but I think it was Standard and Poor’s, a supposedly reputable security and bond rating company that graded some of them as AAA, the highest possible when they should have been the lowest. The perpetrators, the heads of Wall Street, were rewarded with huge bonuses.

My best friend, unfortunately deceased, who I met at Columbia University in 1967 had been very left wing and became extremely conservative. He thought America was becoming fascist. We had a lot of discussions and probably hundreds of emails. Another friend from high school, a political science major, very well informed on the American news, said I knew a lot more about the state of the country than the average citizen. One weekend about 15 years, I realized we're not moving back.

I don't know if Israel can survive. I expect a really terrible missile war and probably nuclear war. If Israel is destroyed, my family survives (we’re dual citizens,) and somehow we can make it back to the US, we'll go as a last resort, but I'm not holding my breath. Whether this actually refers to the ancient Jewish Hebrews is a matter of debate among scholars. I am not a pacifist by any means. War and violence unfortunately, are sometimes necessary. I'm learning krav maga from a private teacher who is quite advanced and has been sent all over the world on behalf of the Israeli army to teach seminars. This is not like other martial arts. The aim is to kill or maim someone within 10-20 seconds. One of the first things he told me was this is used as a last resort. Try to defuse the situation. Always be aware of your surroundings, know the exits, and what can you use as a weapon. It's not easy to get a gun permit in this country. He always carries his gun. There's something called a tactical pen I have to buy that you can stab someone with. You can carry a pen around anywhere. Maybe not in the blue states yet. I don't look for trouble, but it may find me. If it does, I want to be ready.
