The idiotic introduction to this nonsense actually asserts that because the terms "Fake News" and "Pizzagate" both became popular terms on the internet around the same time, that the meme of "Fake News" must have been created to cover up the pizzagate scandal.

In spite of that, I actually managed to read through most of this "primer", and I'm pretty sure doing so knocked about 10 points off my IQ.

I knew you'd be triggered, and seeing who gets triggered is valuable information.

There is a larger point to address here of the fallacious circular reasoning that so many conspiracy theorists succumb to. More of the same evidence that generated a hypothesis is per se insufficient to prove that hypothesis.

Convicting the elite requires absolute, rock solid proof. Convicting Joe Blow requires a desire to convict, and barely anything else.

The question is whether this level of corruption is now enough for Democrats. California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) recently suggested a type of Goldilocks rule for corruption. He warned that people in Washington had better be careful if they want to crack down on the Biden family’s influence-peddling.

If these allegations against Menendez are proven, then he violated Washington’s Goldilocks rule. It would mean that Menendez pursued gifts with a reckless abandon, endangering others whose corruption was more circumspect.

Consider the timeline: It would mean that during the Porteous trial, Menendez was allegedly accepting gifts while condemning and removing from office a judge accused of receiving gifts.

Later, after the jury hung in his first corruption trial, Menendez (according to the Justice Department) almost immediately started taking gifts from new sources.

If that narrative exists, it's retarded. Who exactly is an "opponent of the administration", anyway? I'd bet just about anything that the DOJ will never go after Mitch McConnel or Mike Pence, even though they would frame themselves as "opponents of the administration". Cabals go after whoever is inconvenient to the cabal. Those moments are what make for some of the best scenes in mob fiction, i.e. Tony Soprano offing Christopher.
