South Park wasn't the first to notice it, but this isn't a recent problem. I'm convicned the terrible choices we're given are actually a feature of republics, not a flaw.

I've voted Libertarian for most presidential elections since I turned 18, but I like Rip's idea of automatically voting against the incumbent. That way I'm at least keeping the rats on their toes instead of throwing away my vote.
