The Fox News/Rush Limbaugh histrionics about how they are a shadowy cabbal of radical leftist idealogues rings doubly hollow for someone who has spent a full 3 seconds looking at their record, which shows clearly that they are not animated by Marxist ideology, or for that matter ideology of any kind--these people are the most pragmatic statesman in the history of the world! They have lied, double-crossed, and flip-flopped fully unabashed in pursuit of their goals... why, Satch, are you surprised that they betrayed their base here?
Yes, it's obvious that the Democrat Party is insufficiently Marxist.

The Marxists have always recognized the necessity of capitalism and enriching politicians going all the way back to the original doctrines.

They only see the complete removal of capitalism as possible in the final stage, when there is global communist control under a single government.

I can't wait for them to tell us we are all required to wear the exact same clothes, like they did in China! It will be great fun, comrade.

And soon enough it'll be the metaphorical diseases of ideas that qualify some of us.

This was video interesting. I'd be curious how many people are actually going to sack up at some point. Most people are talking shit on social media and then complying at every turn. I am routinely the only person without a mask in public.

They'll probably only give a nod in the general direction of my house instead of actually calling the Gestapo. They're not total cowards, after all.

What are you guys electing beside the president, half of the lower house of parliament and most governors, right? Everybody wants to keep their spot in the coming decade of monetary and fiscal expansion, which is set to be the biggest on record. Some of the more fascist Democrat governors, like the psychos from New York or California, are probably eyeing the 2024 elections, but their primary concern now is holding on to their seats. They probably even want Trump to win, they can then have a good four years of pushing the same identity politics while at the same time profiting from the Fed and Treasury money creation. I cannot stress this money creation thing enough. Dudes, Germany is going on a decade long spending spree and taking all of Europe with it. Budget deficit higher than 3 percent of GDP is original sin Germany.
When the US does Presidential elections we do them big. Up for re-election at the Federal level are ALL members of the House of Representatives and typically 1/3 of the Senate in any such 4 year cycle. This was purposely built in from the start.

At the state and local levels, it's much the same, although only 11 governors are up for election this cycle. I suppose one could hope that CA and NY would oust theirs, but those states are so deeply blue it seems vain to hope for. Illinois is not up for election of a governor, but as blue as it is, that balance can shift marginally enough to elect a republican if the outer parts of the Shitcago metro area suburbs and their counties don't vote for dems. Given the anger ginned up over the Kung Flu in those counties this year, Pritzker could get dumped. In addition, a Federal probe of dem politicos has taken several scalps already and looks likely to bring down their speaker of the state house. So perhaps some major changes could happen in this state given the disarray that seems pending.

Texas leaders want to freeze property taxes for cities defunding police | The Texas Tribune

Abbot putting the smack down on this silly fuck of a mayor we have here in Austin.

Meanwhile, even the liberals are getting tired of the homeless situation here. We need to get this fucking mayor and city council out before they completely fuck this city up.

While penis masks (a.k.a condoms) are strongly recommended to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, they have never been required or legally enforced. My understanding is that the science behind penis masks is not controversial and is considered to be very effective. Penis masks clearly save lives.

Can anyone explain the rational for advocating COVID mask policy but no penis mask policy?

    Seattle says “hi!”

Seriously, you’re lucky Abbott is stepping up. Some of us don’t have the luxury... sigh....

They just have no consent from much of the population because no campaign geared at creating false fear has taken place for penis masks.

See how effective the virus fear-mongering has been:

This is strictly a function of the propaganda. The media have done their job among a susceptible public in a spectacularly effective way.

Six months into this pandemic, Americans still dramatically misunderstand the risk of dying from COVID-19:

On average, Americans believe that people aged 55 and older account for just over half of total COVID-19 deaths; the actual figure is 92%.

Americans believe that people aged 44 and younger account for about 30% of total deaths; the actual figure is 2.7%.

Americans overestimate the risk of death from COVID-19 for people aged 24 and younger
by a factor of 50; and they think the risk for people aged 65 and older is half of what it actually is (40% vs 80%).
This misperception translates directly into a degree of fear for one’s health that for most people vastly exceeds the actual risk: we find that the share of people who are very worried or somewhat worried of suffering serious health consequences should they contract COVID-19 is almost identical across all age brackets between 25 and 64 years old, and it’s not far below the share for people 65 and older.

The discrepancy with the actual mortality data is staggering: for people aged 18–24, the share of those worried about serious health consequences is 400 times higher than the share of total COVID deaths; for those age 25–34 it is 90 times higher. The chart below truly is worth a thousand words:

    Propaganda is a powerful tool.

There's a lot to take in. You really need to view it a couple of times, there are so many moving parts.

It's as important a video as Plandemic is.
Since you mention Plandemic, the 2nd one was just published: Plandemic II: InDoctorNation

What's it about? Well, the first few minutes show clips from the Oct, 2019 "Event 201" when leaders/experts gamed out the coronavirus pandemic. I don't have the stomach to watch it, but perhaps some of you will get something out of it.
