COVID vaccine likely to be mandatory in Australia, Scott Morrison says after signing deal with Oxford University - ABC News

"During a round of morning media, Mr Morrison repeatedly said he expected push back from anti-vaccination campaigners.
But he repeatedly said he was the minister who introduced a "no jab, no play" rule, and his stance on vaccinations was clear and would not change."

Concerning use of language here at the very least.

Oh, well there you go. Biden and gang are sacrificed along with the electorate in order to keep control of the House. That way they can let Trump take the blame for everything the media are gonna portray as wrong, all the while furnishing the rescue packages with as many pet projects as possible.

I have to take issue with your assertion about condoms. Fauci, et. al., but especially Fauci pushed condoms hard (so to speak) during the 80's AIDS hoopla.

You generally seem well versed in what's going on in the US, but you appear to have overlooked how Congress actually functions in this instance. Dems in the House cannot do what you describe with impunity unless they also control the Senate. Many in the MSM say dems will accomplish this, but then the MSM is also saying Bidet will win too. After several failed predictions in the last 15 years by expert election pundits on both the left and the right, I don't know what to believe.

I'm just conjecturing. The Senate race is likely the second piece of the puzzle. I think it is something of a custom in the US that the party with the incumbent president loses the Senate. So, in this instance, if Biden loses, it's no big deal, as the Democrats have a head start in the Senate race. Otoh, they probably don't even care about impunity, controlling the House in the next decade is where it's at. Even if you funnel "just" 50 or 60 percent of your requests through the House, you're good. Plus, Trump gets the blame for everything that goes wrong. I might be giving the DNC too much credit though, left wing parties have been getting more retarded by the day worldwide, they could just be improvising everything, and badly.

Horseshit from NPR: Secret Gyms And The Economics Of Prohibition : Planet Money : NPR

    Journalism:

Evelyn ducked in under the door and noticed a guy in workout clothes conducting a training and a small group of other guys in the back using exercise machines. They looked "more lean, fancy fit than roidy, bro fit," she says.
    .....

One fitness freak in Ann Arbor, Michigan, turned to Reddit to get their fix. "Anybody want a home gym partner or know of a speakeasy gym?"
    .....

Christina learned that these swole, maskless bros were refugees from big chain gyms like the YMCA and Planet Fitness, which had followed state orders and closed. The bros had somehow learned that there was still a gym open in town.
    .....

But Christina's story also shows the danger of premature reopening. In late April, the Governor of Arizona allowed partial reopening of the state, and on May 13, he extended the order so that even indoor fitness centers could open. The gym bros at her gym went back to their home gyms. Then, COVID-19 started surging like crazy around the state. And, on June 29, the governor issued an executive order that paused reopening, including re-shutting down indoor gyms and fitness centers. To Christina's dismay, the bros are back at the only speakeasy gym in town. It's really messed up her workout routine.
    Propaganda.

No, it's not you. It's apparently what's taught in modern Journalism School.

    Propaganda is a powerful tool.
And Franklin Templeton is no two-bit, fly-by-night check cashing outfit. They are a serious and careful financial institution that millions of people have trusted with their investments for decades. They are known for their college savings funds for children. I'm reading the whole article; this is an incredibly ballsy statement, albiet succinct and non-judgmental, even if it is an analysis geared toward financial planning.

That being said, the big nut to crack is not the mortality numbers and percentages, it's the hangups on the "unknowns," specifically, long-term effects, if any, the role of children, if any, and really anything else people can worry about that hasn't been foreseen. This has really been a masterful job all things considered; it has can kicking and goalpost shifting built in and functioning on an almost automatic basis.

The NPR article is not even propaganda, it’s just a made up story. None of the characters are real. I worked as a journalist for ten years, this thing has all the hallmarks of a Stephen Glass story. The friend whose name we won’t disclose, the reddit people, the only one with a citation is an economist.

Btw, what is is with the damned economists, when did they become so hot?
