I treat leftist like they are mental patients. A close friend of mine is ok with the burning down of police departments. He claims its a plea for help... he must be treated like he has a mental illness or I would never talk to him again.

Well help me understand. I disagree with conservatives, but I have no interest in caricaturing them or misrepresenting their views. If I disagree with someone I want it to be based on what they actually think.

Yeah, I like to torture myself. I've been thinking long and hard about this, this seems to be the basal assumption of leftism. That humans are basically good. I'm convinced that's why they believe in their vision. History to the leftist begins in the 1970's, people were savages before that time. That podcast seems to forget that gentrification doesn't happen in socialist countries, old buildings just get older and then fall over, hopefully not on grandma.

The movie is about a big business owner, Tom Hanks, who forces a small business owner to close, and the question of the movie was if they could fall in love (of course they could). But the thoughts you'll hear from the horse's mouth are different than what you'll hear on this board. The discussion starts at 13:35 if anyone's interested:

You’ve Got Mail is an adaption of all of the adaptions of Lazslo’s novel Parfumerie. The musical “She Loves Me” was last revived in 2016 and was fantastic.

It’s not about business. What the fuck are you talking about?

It's insane! I used to think Stephen Colbert was a pretty clever guy, even though I obviously had political disagreements. But the guy believes the infamous piss tape is out there somewhere.

This is one of the many reasons I'm not a Republican:

    Fox Contributor Andy Mccarthy tweets:
I've done lots of work on this topic, so it bothers me. But @RichLowry has it right: POTUS has to accept that people have already made up their minds about Russiagate, and most just don't care about it like POTUS does ...
From Conservative Treehouse article Beltway Republicans Want President Trump to Drop The “Russiagate” Issue…
… How does the office of a U.S. president; and more importantly the republic itself; survive a coordinated coup effort involving all three branches of government; while simultaneously those in charge of exposing the corruption fear the scale is too damaging for them to reveal?
How does our government investigate and prosecute itself?
    Is this a constitutional crisis?
In what court can this get a fair (real) trial? hint: It's probably not a civilian court, Dorothy.

Anyone read The Accidental Time Machine?
I feel like I travel another hundred years into the future during each night of sleep...things are "progressing" so fast.
This morning I don't even recognize my own species anymore: Dancing in the new reality of deadly viruses

Today, at the grocery store, a young healthy-looking male staff member ran from me....twice...because I didn't have a jock strap on my face.

The WHO's move against the lockdowns is nothing more than a shift to blame Trump for the lockdowns:
From Joe Biden Hits Donald Trump for ‘Shutting Down’ Country over Coronavirus - Breitbart
“Let’s get this straight, he shut it down,” Biden said with disdain.
It's impressive how they all coordinate their mindfucks. It's more impressive that educated, successful people around me embrace every single mindfuck.

Fortunately, I can come here and read uneducated posts from people who graduated from the likes of Stanford.

Will it get them the fuck outta my business?
I know what they think. They are my friends, the people I run into at the coffee shop, etc. I know. Some of it's quite reasonable. Just like the conservatives. But some of it isn't. Just like the conservatives. I honestly don't give a shit what any side thinks, I just want their noses out of my ass. It's not the government's business about anything from how many guns I own to who I'm shagging. It's my business if I wanna risk going to the gym, and it's my business what I wanna grow in my garden. How bout that? Is that more clear than a caricature? What do you need help understanding?
