The price of being the most materially successful, wealthiest society in human history: even the many who were against these things, were comfortable enough and had so much to lose by disobeying, that it took 6-7 months of total squeezing of their assets and restricting their normal, essential human interaction until they started to become desperate enough to resist.
It's ironic that one of the left's big recent talking points until just before covid is how the average American doesn't have enough money to cover a $400 emergency or something like that. Think about how ludicrous and obviously untrue that must be in light of what we've actually seen the past 7 months.
She would be worse than Hillary. If the radicals get a hold of her, she will comply. This is one dangerous person to have running this country. When I think about it, this race is much more interesting, and easier to pick from when I look at the two VP candidates.
Excellent podcast Rip. The best takeaway was the point comparing the average age of Corona doom death with the average age of death in the US. To me this is the king of all arguments and needs to be repeated over and over. It’s concise and simple enough for even the intellectually laziest and dimmest citizens to understand.

I'd guess the $400 number is not far off from true,given what I see every day. Now, why people are in this position is another story. But it is closer to the truth than fiction.
