I don't think anyone in the govt other than Trump himself has the balls to do anything about it. I will be shocked if Biden isn't sworn in as president come January.

Here in Arizona, my son is in his high school marching band and the band is not allowed to go to away games, apparently for reasons having to do with the bus ride. How the football team, cheer and dance groups are not affected by the bus ride has not been explained. During home games, the band is relegated to the field behind the end zone, instead of the stands where they normally would be, so they are essentially unheard during the game. And they have to wear masks when not playing, of course (unlike the football players and cheerleaders).

We were fortunate that our band director, God bless him, kept the program going and the kids had an actual show to perform at halftimes. Many other schools in the area canceled their band season completely. Not all the kids chose to participate, but those who wanted to were given the opportunity. I think there may have been one or two Covid cases in the band during the season, but none of those were worse than a bad cold, exactly as one would expect for that age group.

There's a good chance that the legislatures won't. Read this article and ask yourself, just how far and deep this all actually goes:

DC's Corrupted Legislative Process and Why The Dem/Rep UniParty Dismisses Your Opinion of It... - The Last RefugeThe Last Refuge

In short, DC politicians get money from special interests group so they may support bills/laws favorable for those groups. Of note is that THEY DO NOT WRITE THE LAWS, that's done by lawyers paid by aforementioned groups. It's a multibillion dollar industry which ties more billions (or even trillions) resulting from passing those laws. However...

President Donald Trump winning the [2016] election threw a monkey wrench into the entire DC system…. In early 2017 the modern legislative machine was frozen in place.
It's not a stretch to assume that a lot of politicians in the rest of the US has felt the effects, including the state legislatures. This could go a long way to explain why the state legislatures in the swing states have been, by and the large, unwilling to acknowledge the fraud that took place in the 2020 election.

This may be posted elsewhere. Sorry for the Reddit link, but it is worth watching.

It was, but worth watching again. Everybody needs to remember the great Romanian leader Nikolae Ceausescu, and get word to these two pukes in charge of "Cali" to remind them of history.

There are better shorter versions of this, however it does not seem to matter to some folk(s) about evidence as the impetus is to get JB and KH into the White House at any cost. When Trump moved into the Oval office in 2016 there were folk who swore that he would never see another term. I don't think they realised how difficult it would be to extract him out of the Presidency.

When he came down with CV-19 they thought he was gone, but in a few days he was out, much to their shock and horror. Trump may quit which would be surprising, but allowing Biden into the White House for him is unthinkable. Australians are watching this result more than any other US Presidential election because if Biden gets in it is going to affect Australia, especially Biden's New Green Deal. Kerry will be over here like a shot to pressure us to go back to the Paris deal. China is already banging on our door as they smell a Biden victory, Trump would keep the Chinese government in check, so there is more at stake here then just for the US nation itself.

I think you're onto it here. I suspect we will probably see those Georgia runoffs not run into that same mysterious democrat groundswell that Biden benefited from. Because Republicans keeping some congressional power makes for an excellent excuse for Biden and the Democrats not being able to implement the aspects of their platform that aren't in the best interests of this country's true ruling class. "Sorry we didn't give you guys free money and houses and education paid for by taxing the shit out of the tech billionaires who've consolidated most of this nation's wealth, it was those damn Republicans again! We DID manage to raise taxes on anyone who makes over 75k a year though, so there's that! Those middle class scum will finally pay their fair share!"

What do those two things have to do with each other?

Trump being cheated out of the election thus far is clearly demonstrated by the evidence. Him being able to "prove it" to the kangaroo courts or stay in power in spite not being able to do so is an entirely different subject. Him failing to do either would in no way make Biden a legitimate president.
