That's why planned economies fail every time stacked against ones that are just allowed to grow.
These are really two separate arguments. Mine was more of a moral case that you can’t claim it is my duty to sacrifice myself for others. Yours is more an economic argument, though obviously you could invoke morality in that as well. My argument is along the lines that it is wrong to force me to close my business for the “greater good” as a “civic duty” (because I have seen people state this multiple times. Not here though) because that is an extreme detriment to the well being of myself and my family.

Your argument is more along the lines that forcing me to close my business is not in the interest of the greater good.

I'll be honest.....I don't even know what this means, and REALLY don't know if it matters. It doesn't seem too difficult to have a REAL actual audited recount to be 1000% sure the correct person for the president is actually the one people voted for.

This a SHOCKING admission from the Fulton County GA Elections Director.

They adjudicated 94% of ballots. A voter panel then determines “voter intent”, meaning they can CHANGE the votes.

Forensic analysis now shows there is NO audit trail for the adjudication process.

All of this has been going on for the last 15yrs, well except this one.

"Our elected officials who may still have the courage to do what is right."

    that one was pretty funny.

This relates to the vaccine. By all accounts, the Pfizer mRNA vaccine is safe and effective, isolating an essential functional component of the virus: the surface-level spike protein. However, it presents this protein in isolation; the immune response is not as comprehensive as in actual infection. The protein's location at the surface makes it a convenient therapeutic target, but also prone to mutation. Overall, the vaccine is relatively susceptible to genetic variation.
This is a great point about the vaccine targeting only the spike protein. There are other proteins contained in the virus's membrane some of which are common to other coronaviruses, unlike the spike protein which is unique to this virus. This commonality in proteins forms the basis of T-Cell cross-immunity. By vaccinating healthy, low-risk individuals we may be robbing them of the ability to form additional cross-immunity against other coronaviruses that may be seen in the future.

Then again, I read a Q&A today with some health professionals claiming that the mRNA vaccine will not prevent a COVID infection, it will only lessen the severity of the infection. They also claimed that you will still be infectious to boot. So, if I am at low risk of serious illness from COVID, why would I receive this vaccine if the only benefit to me is preventing something which is already a low probability event for me? Given that this mRNA vaccine is essentially experimental, the risk/reward ratio seems terribly out of whack.

Absolutely and totally a function of the media hysteria. These people are the greatest threat civilization has ever faced.
