Yes, as far as kids go, COVID seems to bounce off them harmlessly like they're from the planet Krypton.

49-year-old struck with anaphylactic shock after receiving COVID vaccine - The Jerusalem Post

In general I am not anti vax. I just want to wait to see more data from this current stage 4 clinical trial. Plus, I normally don't take the flu shot so why should I be coerced into taking this shot especially since I am not in the high risk category.
I just feel many actions governments took to suppress this virus using the china model (and yes there were other models they could of used) was wrong, especially on the level of human rights and dignity. So why the heck should I run at their whim to be a test subject in their current social experiment.

They have money in the companies that make the vaccines. The US Federal Government is a giant self-enrichment scam, especially congress. Invest money in a company, use your government position to give that company lucrative government contracts, collect on your dividends. Resist as much as possible, don't let these fuckers make themselves a killing on a rushed vaccine that probably isn't even going to work for very long, if at all.

To then assume that something else that also causes elevated HR, that is unrelated to temperature, will similarly cause an increase in mortality, is conjecture. It may be true, but can't be concluded. And since the elevated HR itself is unlikely to be a major driver of mortality, given the average cold-weather increase of 2BPM that you posted (sorry if your articles have other #s, I am just looking at your graphs here and taking at face value), I think there is a fair reason to doubt the causal relationship.
Before responding with these generic complaints, could you consider the specific material we're discussing? No, itís not possible to chronically elevate walking HR by 10 BPM without invoking a slew of concerning cardiovascular and neuroendocrine effects (leaving aside obscure technical interventions). You did miss other markers in the articles - such as mean arterial blood pressure and muscle sympathetic nerve activity. When faced with these chronic stressors, large chunks of the population don't adapt - they suffer or die.

No, we cannot conclude anything from a pilot study. But, its punch line "surgical masks cause healthy, non-smoking ~23-year olds to have 30% increases in HR while walking" would definitely be a red flag for population-scale intervention, in any other circumstance. Yet, you (and many others) obtusely refuse to engage in any realistic cost-benefit accounting for these interventions.

In my work I don't look at groups of subjects, I see individual patients. You may see people more as data points. I'm being judgmental when I say that: you might also say that you see the forest, I see trees. Rip has in fact told me to think of the "big picture" once or twice. I see that, but I would also say that I think seeing a forest doesn't help much if you don't understand trees.
If I recall correctly, your "trees" are psychiatry patients. You've defended masks on a variety of occasions, but haven't said much about the unfolding crisis in mental health and substance abuse.

Not that our sheepish population would ever rise up and eat our rich. Pity.
When Martin Bryant went nuts that was the end of private gun ownership here. In this country though we are all rich to a certain extent, if you have a roof over your head a bed to sleep on and food to eat you are rich.

BTW you cannot load and reload an under and over quick enough, besides the take over happened years ago during the days of Hawk and Frazer, when our national sovereignty was given over to international laws and the UN, but this is not a war of guns and bullets anymore, this is a war for your mind and soul. To a certain extent conservative governments protected us from this covert offense, but over the years the left leaning folk have been infiltrated by some very dark forces and even now modest governments are wilting under the pressure, look what is happening in the US.

I am certainly guilty of "denial of democracy". This is what I mean when I say we are all already on their lists. If they win, we will not be allowed to "go along to get along"

That has been the subversion model for over 250 years. Best to avoid a civil war, but a civil war is certainly better than quietly slipping into the communist abyss.

    I agree with you.
The biggest problem with telling people to fuck off every time they tell you to wear a mask is that it gets very tiring very quickly. Nobody has the energy to do that every day. And if you do, it is not the most productive use of your energy.
The second problem is that we do not want to provoke emotional reactions; emotional reactions discourage others from following your lead and entrench people further in their positions/advocacy. Most people are passive conformists or passive non conformists. They will resist if it is a relatively passive act, but not if they think it will lead to direct confrontation.

    Nothing I do is special...
Very important. Look at the declining public opinion of BLM/Antifa over this year as a counter example.

    Be a role model.
    Do the right thing.
Let other people see you as a good person who will not comply or bow down to tyranny.

Sounds like more "baseless claims" to me.
We do likely have something like this in the arsenal though:

You are explaining it according to Marxist theory. Not everybody believes in that model.
The counter view is that it is not a cycle inherent to capitalism; it is a sign that capitalism has been replaced by socialist crony capitalism.

Have any of you actually read all three volumes of Das Kapital? I am not even through the first 1000 page volume and don't know how long it will be until I finish it.
And how about the most famous reaction to Communism? Have any of you (particularly the leftists) actually read an uncensored printing of Mein Kampf?

It is very well-known that mRNA vaccines cause immunogenic reactions.

Trust me, it's zero Covid. A while ago, I was trying to tell you that you are living in a world ten times as loony as the rest of the Westerners. Not because people down under are bad in any way, but because I can clearly see that your governments have collected merits for fighting off the virus, which is a complete lunatic fantasy. This gives rise to the scientific taliban uberclass, which then proceeds to fight Covid "until the last virus". Zero Covid, as crazy as it gets. I am sure things will calm down in time, but it will take Australia a little while longer than the rest of the Western world. So arm yourself with a lot of patience and try to see it as a farce rather than a tragedy. Work on your boomerang skills in the meantime.

Coach, how many US citizens do you estimate to be at the point of boiling rage? Here, I get the feeling that too many are just weathering/enduring the shit - whether or not they agree with the covid restrictions, whether or not they're buying the MSM propaganda. Some might be angry, but most seem to think like John Horgan and deem themselves critical thinkers. I don't imagine this is vastly different in the US? Maybe it is.
