I can't tell if Whitmer is digging herself into a deeper hole or she is going to weather the storm and her actions will be upheld. The Wisconsin Supreme Court showed some balls today so we have a precedent now. No one is worse than her in this thing but it looks like she may just get away with it, which would not be surprising but not any less disappointing.
Iím riding this out in Milwaukee.

The Supreme Court decision which was 4-3, says that the Governor can not legislate. The legislator can, of course, and they have 6 days to undo, redo or retain the covid laws implemented by the governor. The NYTs completely omitted this detail, and described this event as catastrophic in terms of human life.

A step in the right direction.

How many times throughout history has "saving lives" been the reason for dictatorship?

Kinda like that. And this is pertinent to any discussion of the government having our best interests at heart: Starting Privacy with Ben Gillenwater | Starting Strength Radio #55

How anyone can argue that these people are more capable of taking care of us than we are is beyond my ability to comprehend.

An old friend of mine. Dr. Vladimir Zelenko who uses a cocktail of drugs that when administered at the correct time, sees a 99% success rate of outpatients from coronavirus.

this was the Doctor who had a meeting with President Trump regarding the success rate of his prescription and on that basis, Trump made the order of the needed drugs.

in the video, he discusses the conspiracy regarding using this simple and cheap prescription which he has used to successfully treat all his patients.

This suppression of treatment is not incompetence.

Tom Miller got another great interview from a retired Illinois judge. The discussion is obviously Illinois-centric with reference to the actions taken by Pritzker, but Lowery deconstructs those actions in detail with respect to the larger US Constitutional issues.

Well all of them that I can think of started in response to a so-called imminent threat that was mostly manufactured by the persons seizing power

Boy, sounds like JB could very well be the next illinois governor who ends up in the pen. Blatantly violating the constitution, preventing private businesses to operate, and threatening to use the police to shut down said businesses.

The Kane county sheriff (County I live in) was the next sheriff today that said they would not be enforcing the stay at home order.

You're down in southern illinois, How is your county responding so far?
