I've heard Rip himself talk about Texas seceding from the US (can I come?). We have seen the clownish, but symbolic, attempt of the CHAZ. Candace Owens just said, out loud, maybe the only solution is a physical separation of the left and right. Here's what the dissident right are saying about it (there's no "hate-speech" or racial slurs in it - stand down, lefties)

    YouTube

You don't have to agree with it, but in light of recent events it brings up some very interesting points about the future.

What clearly won't work this this current sentiment of "Multiculturalism works - but only if you're not racist. And only white people can be racist".

Combine this with the left's idea that "it's always ethically OK to be violent towards a white supremacist ("Punch a Nazi!" meme), in conjunction with their theory of "white privilege", which states that whites are inherently racially supremacist in their thoughts and actions at the unconscious level...

... and you have a very, very bad situation, which will not just improve on its own.

I like Crowder, but he embodies the kind of centrist, conservative-right position which provides absolutely zero real-life opposition to the madness he just encountered on the street. He has a million clever lines about it, and can explain why he's more rational, makes the guy look like an unethical arsehole, and proves how the black guy is actually more illiberal than himself ("YOU people?! That sounds racist!" with a shocked look to camera). We are well past that point in time now. All of it is completely futile when face-to-face with an unstoppable, irrational and violent force such as this, which is motivated by emotions not empirical facts or rational arguments.

The conservative-right have chosen their egalitarian hill to die on, and will smugly puff away on their cigars, insisting they are still right and winning the argument as our civilisation is totally subsumed by these politically weaponized losers. Just listen to the graffiti guy's jealousy, bitterness and anti-white anger - the product of a lifetime's worth of corporate media and state education system indoctrination, not to mention the feminist ideas, degenerate pop culture and welfare policies responsible for black single mothers representing ~80% of all black mothers in the US. When the totality of our media, institutions and corporations all back that black fella's actions, and share his message too, how on earth does Crowder think he is going to touch the feelings of anyone, or argue his way to an understanding of truth?

It's very similar to how he used The Squad (AOC etc.) in the House to typify, put a frame around, and define dems. The MSM and dem establishment figgered out they were coming out on the losing end of this characterization and The Squad got less and less attention. Given the pratfalls of the dem governors like Cuomo, Whitmer, and others of their ilk, they are reduced to only talking to and convincing their choirs and other occupants of their echo chamber. Further, given the circular firing squads that have emerged on the left, the resulting spectacle has to be giving independents a case of disgust. Conversely, it only energizes conservatives, which has to favor Trump.

Here in Asheville, they agreed to take down the Vance Monolith. Zebulon Vance was a NC governor, Civil War officer and his family owned slaves. The day after the removal was announced, Protesters attempted to setup an "autonomous zone" in downtown Asheville. Last night's first attempt was short-lived. The whole Asheville PD showed up, dismantled the barricades and threatened to arrest anyone who was not on the side-walks.

Asheville is the most left-leaning city in NC...perhaps in the South. The county is a donut: Democrat within city limits and Republican outside of the city. However, Asheville people love their downtown and value/respect private property. People here work hard for what they have. Our downtown has come a very long way in the last 30 years.

This will be a gut-check for liberals here; are we willing to have our beautiful downtown destroyed by these kids? So far, the answer appears to be no. There were great restaurants and breweries downtown before covid19. Many have already called it quits. An Autonomous Zone could be the last straw for others.

I will be very surprised if the local black community gets behind these white dorks.

NC has a Democrat governor and our legislature is majority Republican.

Could someone please link me to the tweet/announcement by an official US government agency or closely government agency that claimed policy brutality was a greater threat to public health than coronavirus and that, ergo, rioting/protests was in the interest of public health? It came out a little less than a week ago. I have googled but cant find it now. Thanks.

Excellent point. We need a better position than: "liberals are the real racists" and "if we let them tear down our statutes, burn our libraries, take over our public spaces, riot in our streets we win!"

I don't know where to pull that back up, but there's still stuff like this coming out:
