Retail Chains Abandon Manhattan: ‘It’s Unsustainable’ - The New York Times
Given the mass looting event in downtown Chicago recently, retail seems on the ropes there as well. Gotta wonder how much longer those with clout in Shitcago are going to put up with Lightfoot and Pritzker. The powerful state assembly speaker Madigan is embroiled in a Federal grand jury, so it appears the Big Blue Machine there is on the ropes at the moment.

    They most certainly did.

Let's roll the dice on monarchy or at least a temporary dictatorship.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, and no personal experience with this at all. I do, but again, a socialist parasite cannot command my time.

I am not advocating that anyone pay more. I am advocating that everyone pay less. Please, look at the figures on what people pay for healthcare per capita in various countries. In every case, state-run HC systems are more efficient. This is entirely uncontroversial everywhere but the U.S..
Again, theory/socialist talking points. You don't actually know anything about this.

Out of curiosity, let me ask you (Rip, Satch, Arryson, and Hurling are also welcome to furnish me with an answer to this question): if you had to persuade the UK electoral body to give up on the NHS in favor of a U.S.-style private health insurance bureacracy (and the exorbitant doctor salaries endemic thereto), how exactly would you do it? Can you name even one quantitative statistic that supports this position?
They cannot be persuaded, and it is not our job to do so. We're not happy with the current system here, so why would we want to talk the fucking Brits into doing it the way we fucked it up here in 1966?

Mark, I don't know if this is worth starting a different thread or what but .... Have any posters here HAD the virus?
    "Post Your COVID19 Infection Stories?"

An actual positive test and infection?
I don't mean, "oh yeah I know I had it got sick in January and it was covid19 I'm sure ..."
5.2M cases in the USA now. That's like 1 out of 66 or something?
OR, are we all immune because we go to the gym?

Britain. 2020. Lower healthcare costs than America per capita. But of course, you already knew that that would be my response. You’re just a 17-year-old virgin who is trying to impress Rip with your jadedness about government involvement in resource allocation. Ask that girl from your French class on a date, little man. It may be therapeutic for you to let a bit of the poison out.

I just want to quote this without any commentary from me. This is my opposition. This is the group of people that I’m fighting against: grown men who earnestly believe that “kings don’t want to micro-mangage their lives” and “kings respect property rights”. That’s the level of informedness that the trad right boasts in this country.

VERY interesting! What exactly are you unhappy about with the current healthcare system? What exactly would you change?

Remember: if I hit you with a devastating rebuttal, you can simply choose not to publish it. You literally can’t lose.

Once again, socialist parasite, you do not command my time. I understand that you have become accustomed to doing so, but not here.

Your answer is proof of your ignorance and your ignorance is proof that an education doesn't change the core stupidity of a socialist.

I know many here are discussing high minded ideas. But the Big10 & PAC12 cancelled fall football season.

If the rest of the D1 schools follow suit (not determined yet), it will be the death knell of college athletics as we know it. I'm sure something better will be on the others side of this, but it's hard to see it now.

Once again, a positive test is NOT A CASE!

The medical community knows this, but it is the MSM rhetoric that is being used because it sounds TERRIBLE!

The 3 possible posts in the new thread would be "I'm fine."
