My lab results just came in. Even I’m a little surprised considering how much food I’ve been eating. My AIC went from 6.0 to 4.8. Do you have any idea how much white rice Santana told me to eat on top of everything?!?! If you listened to the conventional wisdom, I should be dying of a diabetic coma! My cholesterol has always been freakishly good, but my total cholesterol dropped from 170 to 160. Slight down tick in my HDL and slight uptick in my triglycerides. I’m not on GOMAD, but I go through 3 gallons a week and a metric shit ton of eggs.
I hit a bit of a wall at 220, and kind of spooked myself by how much I was eating. I think seeing my labs as good as they are, I’m going to 245 or 250. I’ve even heard Rip tell tall guys like us 270. I don’t plan on competing, but hell.... Maybe I’ll shoot for it. My biggest issue right now is I have a manual labor job that has me crawling through right spaces. Those spaces are starting to get REALLY tight. My shoulders and ass get in the way of everything.
