Today I relinquished my Costco membership after a young creature told me to pull my mask up over my beautiful nose. (There was some consternation behind the customer service desk. Perhaps I’m not the only objector. They asked why, I told them. )

But that was after I safely secreted my last Costco haul in my car.

    Top /that/.

Did you sight that in yourself? I’m struggling with repeatability of a break-action 0.177 pellet rifle. But I am an amateur.

That analogy doesn't work; the dead body doesn't exist (a statistical anomaly isn't a dead body), and the VPN, in generalized terms for this analogy, is more like a locked door to a house. A number of people may have the key, but you don't know whether someone used one to get in and commit a crime, or even if a crime was committed.

I think we all agree that electronic voting machines shouldn't be connected to networks (if used at all), but the VPN feature, while being extremely suspicious, isn't evidence of a crime. You'd have to show that the vote tallies were changed. If it's an electronic machine that took scans of paper ballots, then the machine votes could be audited against the paper records. If voting was inputted electronically, you will likely have no way of knowing nor proving that the votes were manipulated, particularly if the perpetrator knew what they were doing. Same goes with remote access: if you can't prove someone accessed the machines remotely, you have no evidence of a crime and anyone that knows what they are doing won't leave a trace. This is very easy to do if you have knowledge of the machine, particularly if you developed the machine, or even if you simply had physical access to one. NSA should have data on remote foreign access, but if I'm a foreign adversary, I would just launch my attacks from machines inside the US.. in fact, if I was manipulating votes for democrats, I'd stage my attacks from a machine at the RNC so that they trace it back to there . Biden has been in government for decades, so I will conjecture that he has many powerful connections in all parts of the US government, so I think it's plausible that if the votes were manipulated, it was a domestic job.

The bigger question here, though: is this election fraud enough to start an uprising? This election takeover was blatant: "we cheated and there's nothing you can do about it..so join us (it's time for unity) and accept it as we build-back-better (communism)". The dominoes leading to socialism in the US have been falling one-by-one... the only thing left to take from us are our guns and that's usually the last to go before socialism is activated.

There are other places to ski and other places to eat. Here, if you shut down the Kroger and everyone has to shop at Corner Market or Whole Foods, poor folks are fucked. I imagine the same situation exists elsewhere. And to shut down grocery stores Thanksgiving week? Only an absolute asshole would do such a thing. NM can go fuck itself.

I'm seeing more people alone in cars with masks. I get the stink eye when I don't wear one outside at the gas station. Imo, this whole thing has gone far enough and is now testing my considerable patience and ability to stay out of jail. Biden can kiss my fat, jiggly, white ass. I'm not handing over weapons or private property and I'm not registering a damn thing either. I followed the rules at the time it was purchased and if they don't like that, fuck 'em. If that's the hill I die on, so be it. We all have to go sometime and there are far less nobler hills. I'm tired of this shit.

I actually completely forgot to wear mine into Rite Aid the other day when I went to pick up a prescription. Didn't even dawn on me until I was leaving. No one gave me shit about it, though the lady working the pharmacy counter was being kind of a bitch. Maybe that's why.

Precisely the situation. Galling, to see it happen and to see absolutely nothing done about it. Is the apathy this is sure to produce an intentional effect?

They will not get our guns. I think the people who will be ordered to take them already know this.

It seems this would fall under the triangle of Firearm, Ammunition, Marksman.

Eh, by the same token, if we have a right to a provably correct election, then our rights have been violated by the presence of remote access. Hence the election is invalid. Forget the inductive statistical proof. Redo.

I'm making this up as I go.

Spent some money on B&N Match-quality pellets, and am getting same results with some less expensive Crossman hollow-points. Ammo is probably exonerated. Firearm probably needs some dialing in to get back on paper. That leaves, of course, me. No surprises there. Wondering how much muscle memory and repeatable shoulder placement plays a role.

I'm not getting pushback in Kroger or Meijer. Just Costco, which is particularly rigorous. Hence our divorce (not my first rodeo).

I humbly accept your praise, good doctor.

Looks like my elevation theory may have some legitimacy as well.
