Can anybody give me even one logical reason why mass immigration and allowing all foreigners to vote would in any way be good for the Japanese people or the already crowded nation of Japan?

So I take it from the few anecdotal posts over the past few days that many of us have just decided to wear the damn muzzle in order to go about our daily lives?

Why not a Halloween mask instead, or something like a bank-robber pantyhose pulled over the head? It seems like the enemy's loophole of not creating mask specifications leaves room to make the obedient and the order-followers at least uncomfortable, in those cases when we must muzzle up to go about our daily lives. Or is this just as bad and "giving in" while the stakes are low, so that there'll be too much momentum on their side when the stakes get high?
(I myself avoid too much of this, as I'm only a guest over here with the Slavs. But that guy Steven Crowder pointed out how much more the lockdown-protesting Britons were risking, given that they don't even have a 1A, and perhaps he has a point)

I have worn a mask less than 5 times. Once was to vote, Twice were at the Chinese takeout where they asked very nicely. Twice at a bar. I am willing to put one on tonight if the liquor store because i don't want to have to shop around for a place that will not refuse me service, but I won't be back again if they ask me to wear one.

Anyone got more info on the claims of Republican staffers in these contested states having articles of their own clothing/items from their dressers mailed back to them in envelopes with accompanying death threats? I heard about their "Ring" type network security cameras getting hacked, too. Also the threats include torture to near death, violent rape and execution - of them, their families and even pets. Police are also allegedly turning a blind-eye, and when people are caught, the most lenient charges are applied. Obviously, CNN and Snopes will be the first outlets to impartially cover this, but wondered if any of you had a good link.

For shit's sake. This is why we need the Republicans and other mainstream conservative parties to up their game, offer a real alternative and actually win. This hellscape is the alternative to winning by any political means necessary, which includes swallowing your conservative pride and making "socialist" sounding campaign promises to win over the youth.

No matter the flavour of right-leaning person you are, I guarantee we will all be suffering the same fate as the live-streaming German doctor in the not-too-distant future. You've got to remember, these Republicans who are being targeted are likely just as politically anti-white as many on the Left and their only transgression is actually caring about the rule of law - and this is how they're being treated. Can you imagine the kind of treatment they have in store for us?

This is something my mind plays with a lot. It seems to me the societies where more socialist things work well, like Finland, are rather homogenous societies. Which seems in line with the human brain. We were tribal for so long. After that we lived in small villages for a long time. Family groups that widened but not by a lot. It seems like the wider the powers that be require us to extend that inclusion the more problematic the whole situation becomes. If you live in a village of 200 people and you screw over the charity system people know you, people know what you did. You have to face those people you screwed over. If you live in a country like America there's no real group that knows what you did and you never feel shamed or responsible for being a dick. On the other end of the spectrum it's very easy to share what you have with your cousin who the whole village knows isn't right in the head and has a mental capacity of a 10 year old. But it becomes much harder to watch your paycheck get swiped for nameless immigrants who don't share your immediate circumstances and whom you have no say in how much you get to give. Globalists want us to feel bad about that difference but I'm not sure we should. I think it's a natural human thing to want to do for your own but not another group.

I'm finding more and more ways to avoid it. I found a gas station that doesn't require them, and I'm driving over to Rankin or Madison to do shopping or ordering online when I can't. I know the line is that they don't cause problems but they do something. I have allergies. I can be totally fine and then wear a mask for 15 min trying to pick up something at Walgreens and end up with a tickle in my throat like I've been out doing yard work or was around someone with a ton of perfume. Take the mask off and 15 min later I'm fine. I think people who say they aren't a problem are not in any way taking into account how and with what they are made. They come in boxes, they aren't hermetically sealed and they come from places like China where they've been made in who knows what kind of conditions with a long travel time. I trust them as being neutral less and less every time I wear one. And no, I don't ball them up in a back pocket and never clean or change them either. They also have an odd smell after they warm up.

As a permanent resident in Japan, I'll bite.
The quote this is apparently based on is from 2001. Since at least 2010 Motegi has veritably and quite vocally been against the giving foreigners the vote. He is establishment LDP and they are hard right wing conservatives, some of them quite virulently anti-foreigner (read as: ethnically Chinese/Korean).
Why this particular quote has been dredged up now I can only guess.
