This is my absolute favorite part of the pandemic so far.

Could he put a stop to neoliberalism's commodification of the whole world?

As I mentioned before, this neoliberal project has transformed us by breaking down our barriers, borders and identities - and turned us into individuals who formulate our identities based on consumer goods. We can't even form a structural criticism of global capitalism, because we are it. Even if all these evil, satanic globalists were locked up, we couldn't formulate an alternative ideology other than our current post-WWII liberal ideology.

The heads of these global corporations would need to be sat down, and very, very fucking firmly told "What you're trying to do here is completely at odds with how we want to live"- but you can't do that if you're rooted in liberal principles which says: Everyone has the right to go off and start up huge corporations, and buy up everything, and use the media to brainwash your customers, and reduce human beings down to these commodified unit.

    I doubt it.

Colpo has been pretty reliable in the past on other subjects. So I'll take his word for it here:

"This does not bode well for public health, because even drugs that go through the full approval process have a high likelihood of producing serious side effects. Researchers from Yale School of Medicine found nearly a third of drugs approved by the FDA from 2001 through 2010 had major safety issues years after the medications were made widely available. Seventy-one of the 222 drugs approved during the decade were withdrawn, required a "black box" warning on side effects or warranted a safety announcement about new risks. It took a median of 4.2 years after the drugs were approved for these safety concerns to come to light, the study found, and issues were more common among psychiatric drugs, drugs approved near the regulatory deadline for approval, biologic drugs and drugs that were granted "accelerated approval."

Plenty of silly nonsense and edited videos from nutjobs out there, but I do find it funny how they had to shutdown comments and remove like/dislike buttons on the Sniffer and the Whore events because the most popular president in history has so many haters.

Glad there are still a few folks who have a pair:

Snuffleupagus is flat out lying about there being investigations and court cases and flat out misquoting Barr who said that they had not found evidence. Barr also didn't look. So kinda hard to find what you're not looking for. Although, not having your head up your ass and passing high school math makes it hard to avoid seeing.

Coronavirus outbreak at NY nursing home leaves at least 32 dead: report | Fox News

This "outbreak" occurred on December 21, and on December 22 the vaccine was applicated, because the vaccine was all knowing. And since January 5, (EXACTLY TWO WEEKS) after the vaccine was administered, 20 more people have died from this virus injected right into their blood systems. I am sorry. This is not America. This is not life. This is not liberty. I am literally torn apart inside to see my country commit suicide and kill old people with a smile on their faces. I will never be involved in this. I will never condone this activity. I will never let this characterize me as a person.

Now I know that I say many cuss words, and whine, and complain, and fight too much, but I am sorry. This is simply too far. This has crossed a line. I will not stand idly by and watch the old people of this country be genocided by people who ARE LAUGHING AT THEM. I DON'T THINK IT'S FUNNY. The next time someone wants to speak ill of someone, genocide, or hurt other, go to the GOSH DARN Wal-Mart, buy some roller blades, and skate in a circle for thirty minutes. I don't have time for this. I don't think it's cute, it's not funny, it never was and there IS literally going to be Hell to pay. But I will not stand by and not expose the fact that our old people are being genocided gleefully by those in power.
So where were you when year after year, the estimated 380,000 old people in nursing homes died of preventable infectious diseases? Where was anyone's outrage?

Some random thoughts about the current climate under our Enlightened Overlords who claim they just want some unity now.

Many of them want to seek revenge on anyone who was in Trump's administration. As in cancel any jobs they might get, not hire them, and confiscate any wealth they might have. All the while ignoring Hunter (AKA Fredo) Biden's ill gotten gains. But there is a precedent for this. Consider the term lynching. So far, no one has called for that, a la the French during the Terror and the guillotine. But lynching has a fine tradition dating back to our own revolution. The Original Lynch Mob

Loyalists were not only lynched, but they were also exiled and their property confiscated. Is this what Americans do to each other these days?

Then there's the random thought that similarly, many wanted to do the same with the followers of Andrew Jackson once he was out of office. Had that succeeded, people like Sam Houston might never have gotten around to separating Texas from Mexico and most of the Southwest would still be under Mexican rule.

James K. Polk, another Jackson protege, might never have become President. This may seem a big "so what" until you look at the history of the border dispute in the Pacific Northwest between the US and the UK in the 1840's. Polk bluffed the UK into ceding what are now the states of Washington and Oregon to the US. All because he made them believe we could get troops there overland faster than they could by land OR by sea.

So what does this, coupled with flagging support even from their pet media types for impeachment, tell us about how much unity our homegrown national socialists really want? Some of you may doubt this flagging support, but this weekend I heard spokes ho's cite polls on both NPR and ABC national news about this to dem politicos and follow up with questions about how useful this was to spend their time on. To paraphrase what Haldeman once said, "This isn't playing well in Peoria."

Are you sure they died from the vaccine rather than with the vaccine?

It’s rather hypocritical, I would say, to argue that old folks who died from covid were going to die anyway, but the same dying after receiving a shot died prematurely.

Turnabout is fair play, is it not?

And from here on out, I will consider your obviously intentional misspelling if my name to be a charming acknowledgement of your fondness towards me.
