Well whaddya know! Neoliberal CEO's don't care about the same things heritage Americans care about, nor do they care about the safety and wellbeing of Americans themselves, either. Quick, blame China! It'S a CoMmUnIsT tAkE-oVeR!

On Big Tech corporations: Rip, please jump on to Odysee and get a early footing there by mirroring your YouTube stuff. BitChute isn't the answer to your impending cancellation - they're based in the UK and are subject to our increasingly wide legal definitions of "hate speech". Also, the video quality is as good as YT (much better than BitChute). It's going to be the home of dissident content on the internet.

Also, people should stop buying The Coca-Cola Company products if they have any self-respect:

That is a good observations. Excessive death rates are probably the best way to compare countries, since the absolute Covid-19 mortality rates depend quite a bit on definitions and how the statistics are compiled. Belgium for example count every death that is suspected to be caused by Covid-19, while the UK only count deaths at hospitals with a Covid-19 diagnose.

Excessive death rate is the difference between actual death rate and the forecasted death rate, which depends on both historical data, but also on the current demographics and health condition of the population. The main reason Sweden compares more favorably when is comes to excessive death rate is that there were very mild flu seasons in 2018 and 2019. Without trying to be cynic, a number of people in risk groups survived a year or two extra and as a consequence these groups were substantially larger in 2020.

The biggest difference between the shutdowns in Sweden and the rest of the world is that the schools never were shut down. The authorities made the call that the negative consequences of shutting down schools would be more severe than letting them staying open. Kids up to 16 years of age seem to be a lot less contagious that older people. It can be seen that teachers show less cases than many other groups. Most people who were able to, started to work from home. The industries remained open, which resulted in a lower drop in GDP and a quicker bounce back. Sweden did fail in the elderly care. It happened that there were many untrained hourly workers and a lack of ppe for a very long time. This made elderly who either received home visits or stayed at care homes to become infected to a higher degree than in comparable countries.

Sweden did limit the number of guests at restaurants, banned standing bars and limited the open hours for serving alcohol and stopped mass gathering like football games etc.

Thank you for this service, Coach. If you or anyone knows of a site that "outs" businesses that promote/support ideas/organizations that stomp on deplorable values, feel free to share so that I may do my part in the "national divorce" by steering clear of and spreading the word on them.

Corporate America hopped on the train in order to keep the undesirables hanging from the rails from attacking the first class dining car.

Are you trying to deliberately mislead here? The surrounding Scandinavian countries are clearly a far more relevant than Europe as a whole, which had excess mortality rates as follows (according to the article):

    Norway: -0.4%
    Sweden: 7.6%
    Denmark: 1.6%

And regardless, going off worldin.news seems questionable at best--the article doesn't even properly cite the source of the data (merely stating from whom/which organizations the data came from is clearly insufficient) and it reads as if written for a high school English class.

And drawing the conclusion that "mask mandates are ineffective" based on the assumption "a country without mask mandates had lower excess mortality than countries with mask mandates" is logical nonsense.

Everyone on this forum seems to have such incredibly low standards by which they judge something to be true. Truth is an elusive/nebulous thing and even in the best cases it takes quite a lot of diligence and scrutiny to find. Just because something is aligned with your fucked-up world view doesn't make it true--and investing emotion/politics into what you deem (or want to be) true is just folly.

The average annual death rate in Sweden is about 0.90% of the population. So far, COVID-19 has "killed" 0.123% of the population, making it responsible for about 12.5% of the deaths in Sweden last year. How many people died from the side effects of lockdown in the parts of the world where tyrannical leftist governments get to decide who does what?

Intersting how these scumbags get the best of both worlds: they get to express themselves like individuals when you'd think they'd have the singular focus of producing a profitable product (thus far these sort of stances have had the opposite effect on their profits) and they also get to be protected from individual responsibility by being something other than actual people. For bonus points they have no attachment to people or geography whatsoever to inhibit the negative side of how they do business.

Mit Romney would be proud and Ted cruz will lecture someone about how real capitalism hasn't been tried.

Yup. The panderers have no need for further finacial success and could care less about the "trickle down" effects of this nonsense.
